How did you experience the body scan and what are its benefits?

My initial thought was this is very similar to progressive muscle relaxation, and I did not allow proper time to truly experience the benefits, in the beginning. I was overthinking and engaging in comparisons.
Once I finally let go of any preconceived notions, and truly engaged in being present in the moment, it became transformative!
There are so many benefits, but here are a few I experienced:
Decreased anxiety, improved sleep, a wonderful warming feeling of relaxation, increased awareness and insight into myself, I feel I am able to stay focused easier, and of course a reduction in overall stress levels.
